Painitng i did for my mates 21st bday. Its based on MJ's Dangerous Tour opening with Jam. Only Michael Jackson could get away with a costume like that.
Been very busy the last week doing lots of drawing studies to improve my overall fundamental skills. mixture of sketch studies from George Bridgman books as well as a few experimentations with acrylic and gouache. :) Cheers for looking!

Heres my final concept for the Russian gangster girl. Though there is still loads of room for improvement, i think it's a big step up from my other character development studies. Now to finish off the dude!
A pencil tone study of a poster i'll be painting as part of a university assignment. im still tossing up whether to do it digital or acrylic. i havnt touched acrylic for many months and this would be a good excuse to get in some more practice, but digital is faster. hmmm...
Ok. So, my tablet is dying. Its been through a lot. Have to call this quits for now. I think im pretty happy with the colour palette. Gonna use this as a basis for some future work i'll be developing for a story of mine ive come up with (in preparation for sending out portfolios :)) Cheers for looking.
